Gentleness, self-sacrifice and generosity are the exclusive possession of no one race or religion. – Mahatma Gandhi
These values represent the best of the human race; they exist in every man, woman and child living in every corner of the earth.
It is inherent within us to come to the aid of those who are suffering, those in need.
This is who we are; this is who we strive to be.
Sometimes we succeed; sometimes we fail.
What is important is that we continue to try.
Unfortunately, not all human beings embrace, accept, or adhere to these principles; they consider them weaknesses , not strengths.
Their strengths are displayed through a different set of standards; harshness, self-centeredness, and selfishness.
In 2018, those who embodied these standards claimed that they represented the majority of human beings; this was not the case.
Not only were they not in the majority, they were no longer true human beings; they willingly lost their way.
2018 was a year of fear: worry, anxiety, uncertainty, and anger.
A new year cannot change our world; only true human beings can.
Do Not Be Afraid.
