Most people do not really want freedom, because freedom involves responsibility, and most people are frightened of responsibility.
-Sigmund Freud
Two definitions of Freedom ( the New Oxford American Dictionary).
1) the power or right to act, speak, or think as one wants without hindrance or restraint.
2) absence of subjection to foreign domination or despotic government.
The 2024 election is a watershed event in American history.
We as citizens are faced with a crucial decision: democracy or despotism; independence or subjugation.
There are many of us willing to stand up and defend the freedoms guaranteed by our revered Constitution and way of life; and, there are those who do not.
Either because they desire to emulate the totalitarians of this world , or are afraid to accept the responsibility to oppose absolute power.
Those who seek to destroy democracy and rewrite or negate our Constitution will do everything, and anything , to accomplish their goals, including soliciting the interference and cooperation of autocratic foreign governments.
Each and every one of us must take a stand and vigorously accept our responsibility to preserve and defend democracy and the Constitution of the United States.
It is our duty as Americans.
It is our duty to vote.
It is our responsibility.
Do Not Be Afraid.
